These terms apply when you use this website and when you buy from Muir & Me. Please read them before placing an order. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

We describe each product as carefully and accurately as we can. As our pieces are made by hand, small variations in colour, finish and scent strength are natural and to be expected, and are part of their character.

Images are intended as a faithful guide, though screens vary. All products are subject to availability, and we may change or withdraw a product at any time.

When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We will send an order confirmation to acknowledge it. A contract is formed only when we confirm that your order has been dispatched.

We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there has been a pricing error, or if we are unable to take payment. If we do, we will let you know and refund any payment taken.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT. Delivery costs, where they apply, are shown clearly at checkout before you pay.

We take reasonable care with our pricing, but errors can occur. If we find an error in the price of something you have ordered, we will contact you before dispatch and give you the choice to continue at the correct price or cancel.

Online, we accept all major debit and credit cards, along with Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay, taken securely at checkout through Shopify. In our studio and at events, we also accept cash and card payments in person. We do not store your full card details.

We deliver across the United Kingdom. Dispatch times, costs and tracking are set out in full on our Shipping & Returns page. We aim to meet the timescales shown, but once an order is with the courier, delivery is in their hands.

We accept returns within 30 days, provided the item is unused and in a resaleable condition. The cost of return postage is the customer's responsibility. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. As a consumer, you have the right to cancel most online orders within 14 days of receiving them under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, and goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If something is faulty, we will put it right.

Where you take part in our rewards programme, points and rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. We may change or withdraw the programme, and adjust how points are earned or redeemed, with reasonable notice.

All content on this site, including text, images, design and branding, belongs to Muir & Me or our partners, and may not be copied or used without our permission.

Please use the site lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt it, misuse it, or access it in any way that could cause harm.

We will always do our best by you. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable or that arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you place it. Any changes appear on this page with a revised date.

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of Scotland. How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
